1. Sign in with Google or a Solana wallet on the login page (either method can create your account).
2. Confirm you are 13 or older when asked.
3. Enable spoken alerts when the unlock prompt appears — browsers require one click before a page may play sound. On the desktop app, audio unlocks automatically.
4. Keep Announcr open (a browser tab or the desktop app) so live messages can play.
5. Optionally open Settings to pick a voice pack, set quiet hours, turn on Important ambient highlights, and manage sign-in methods (add Google for wallet recovery; link X / Telegram for brands and source verification). A Solana wallet address is sticky once linked.

Google or wallet sign-in

• Google uses the normal Google account chooser and returns you to Announcr.
• Solana wallet asks an injected wallet such as Phantom or Solflare to sign a human-readable sign-in message. Signing proves wallet ownership; it does not send a transaction or charge a fee. New wallet-first users choose a friendly username after signing.
• On a phone, use Phantom's in-app browser if your normal mobile browser does not expose a wallet.

Already have an Announcr account? Sign in with your existing method first, then add the second method under Settings → Sign-in & linked accounts. Signing in with an unlinked wallet while logged out can create a separate account; accounts are not merged automatically.

If you start wallet-only, add Google when offered so you still have a recovery path if the wallet becomes unavailable.

Welcome Spotlight

After you finish the age gate and turn spoken alerts on (unlocked and not muted), you may hear a short one-time welcome — a personal Spotlight announcement so you know how spoken messages feel. It is sent once per account. If you stay muted, it waits until you unmute.

Messages home shortcuts

On Messages (the home feed), starter cards help you get moving: Channels, Better Me, Signals, and Track My Bags when that surface is on. They stay at the top while your feed is empty or still thin (up to four message rows), including after the welcome Spotlight lands — so one early announcement does not clear them. Once you have more than four rows, the cards hide and the feed is just your history.

Then pick a path:

• Tap a home shortcut, or
• Add someone under Contacts and send a message
• Subscribe to something in the Catalog (personal reminders, X, X Groups, X Articles, Telegram, Gmail, price alerts, wallet watches, …)
• Follow a channel from Channels, Discover, or an invite link
• Start a Better Me plan for short daily coaching touches
• Paste an X Article URL under X Articles, or tag @AnnouncrFM on X (see X Articles)
• Say a watch into existence with the header microphone when voice signal creation is enabled (see Signal catalog)
• Browse Stories under Stories when that nav item is shown
• Create a free channel if you want a one-way voice feed of your own
• Paste wallets into Track My Bags to choose the token projects you want spoken updates for
• Open a token invite link like /t/<mint> and subscribe to announcements

X is not a login. Following X accounts or X Groups is a Catalog subscription. Proving your X identity is optional under Settings → Linked accounts (same idea as Telegram). Linking X saves @AnnouncrFM mention results into your Messages. See X listening and X Articles.
